Six unemployed steelworkers have no cash and no prospects. After seeing their wives’ enthusiasm for a touring company of Chippendale male strippers, the men set out to make some quick cash and show what "real man" bodies look like. The Full Monty is truly something to cheer about.

Gordon is thrilled to be returning to Sudbury and to be working with the fine folks at STC. Gord starred earlier this season in Doubt. Recent theatre credits include How It Works (Theatre NorthWest); Pelee (SummerWorks, Toronto); Reesor (touring); Miracle of St. Anthony (Young Centre, Toronto); 36 Views (Berkeley St. Theatre, Toronto). Film and Television credits include The Sentinel, The Man, and Tilt.
ERYNN BROOK Ensemble
Erynn is so excited to be sharing the stage with so many talented performers in her STC debut. WESLEY CONNOR as Buddy (Keno) Walsh | Ensemble
Wesley is thrilled to be doing his first show with STC. Most recently, Wesley played Banquo in Theatre Rusticle’s production of Birnam Wood (Theatre Passe Muraille); and Prior in Column 13’s production of Angels in America. His one man show (directed and co-created with Sonia Norris) When You Stand Alone toured to critical acclaim in festivals across North America and presented at the Harare International Festival of the Arts in Zimbabwe, Africa.
ALESSANDRO COSTANTINI as Nathan Lukowski
Alessandro who last appeared as James in STC’s James and the Giant Peach is thrilled to be back. He continues to perform in film, television and theatre. He is a recurring character in the new Family Channel series Baxter, debuting this fall. He recently founded a new youth theatre company called Y.E.S. that will produce Hair at STC in August. Alessandro thanks STC and everyone involved in the show.
JAY DAVIS as Jerry Lukowski
Jay couldn’t be happier to be here. Recent credits include Assassins (TIFT Barrie, Birdland Theatre Toronto); Robin Hood and Evita (Drayton Entertainment); Just East of Broadway at the 2009 Toronto Fringe Festival (Best of Fringe and Patrons Pick); Tick Tick Boom (ACT/The Rose Brampton); and Little Shop of Horrors (Stage West Calgary).
DARCY EVANS as Malcolm McGregor
Darcy is thrilled to return to STC after directing Sleeping Beauty earlier this season. Broadway credits include Little Women (Associate Director). National Tours of The Who’s Tommy (Mirvish); Little Women (1st US National, Laurie Stand-By); Spirit of A Nation. Seven seasons as an Actor, Associate Director, Casting Director for the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. ALLAN GILLESPIE as Dave Bukatinsky
Allan is excited to be making his debut at the Sudbury Theatre Centre in The Full Monty. Most recently Allan appeared as The Evil King in the pantomime version of Rumpelstiltskin (Stirling Festival). Coming up this summer, Allan will be appearing in The Last Resort (Stirling Festival) and Guys and Dolls (Drayton Entertainment). But most importantly, he will be playing the role of The Groom in his wedding to the beautiful Ms. Louise Plunkett. (xxx!)
MICHAEL-LAMONT LYTLE as Noah (Horse) T. Simmons
Life is about change and in the last couple of years Michael-Lamont has had a lot of them. He got married, he became a Canadian citizen and this year he debuts with the Sudbury Theatre Centre. Michael-Lamont has performed with everyone from Celine Dion to Cirque du Soliel, to Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King. Michael-Lamont dedicates this performance to his husband D’Arcy Mclenaghen and his mother Barbara Jean Lytle.
MARY McCANDLESS as Jeanette Burmeister | Molly
Mary has spent over 35 years fulfilling her dream of being a character actress. She’s played everything from a cigar-toting poker player from the Yukon to the Devil’s seductress, a Russian Grand Duchess, the “most beautiful woman ever accused of murder” and every bag lady, Irish landlady and Nun in between. This has taken her to musical theatre stages and concert halls around the world. Playing Jeanette at STC, is just icing on the cake.
ROSE NAPOLI as Estelle Genovese | Ensemble
Rose is so very pleased to be a part of David Savoy’s first season as Artistic Director of STC. Recent credits include Half Life (Rose Theatre); Proof (Windsor Theatre Festival); Nocturne (Breathe Art Theatre Project); I Ought to be in Pictures (Showboat Festival). ALISON J. PALMER as Pam Lukowksi
Alison is thrilled to be making her STC debut, as she returns to the theatre after a 3-year hiatus. Credits include assistant director/dance coach for Leaving Home (Soulpepper); dance captain/principal understudy in Aladdin (Ross Petty Prod.); DC/ensemble in Evita, and Hunyak/DC/US Velma in Chicago (Neptune Theatre); and DC/swing in The Producers (Mirvish). CARA PANTALONE Ensemble
Cara is an actress/improvisor/teacher who calls Toronto home. Her favorite credits include Grease, The Taffetas, Seussical the Musical and Once Upon a Mattress. As an improvisor, she has appeared in the Bad Dog theatre’s Harold Night, Formations, Marco Neato as well as The Workshop with Bruce Hunter and the Canadian Comedy Award nominated Troubadour. JAMES QUIGLEY as Reg Willoughby | Ensemble
This is James’ first show at the Sudbury Theatre Centre and he is very excited to work with David Savoy and his team! ANDREW SCANLON as Ethan Girard
Andrew is thrilled to be back at STC, having previously appeared on this stage in Cinderalla. Credits elsewhere include Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story: The Musical (Disney Creative Ent.); A Christmas Carol (Neptune); Over the River and Through the Woods and Dogbarked (Globe); Cotton Patch Gospel (Georgian Festival); Forever Plaid (Showboat Festival). ASTRID VAN WIEREN as Georgie Bukatinsky
Astrid was in the original Toronto company, plus U.S. National tours #1 and #2 of Mamma Mia! Favourite roles include Lady Rumpers in Habeas Corpus (CanStage); Val in Looking (Showboat), Baal in Baal (Mercury); Louise in Danny, King of the Basement (Roseneath); and Vicki in The Full Monty (StageWest). Most recently she performed in the mega hit, My Mother’s Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding (Mirvish Prod.) Thrilled to be here in Sudbury with such a wonderful cast and crew! For Mantee!
BARRIE WOOD as Harold Nichols
Since starting at the Charlottetown Festival in 1974-77, Barrie has been busy in most aspects and locations of Canadian theatre. The original CATS Canada, Crazy for You, A Man of No Importance and U.S. National Tours of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, six seasons at The Stratford Festival, and last year’s Sweeney Todd here at STC are a few major highlights. Playing Matthew in Anne of Green Gables at Charlottetown this summer is a highlight to come.
VIVIANA ZARRILLO as Vicki Nichols
Joyfully making her STC debut (and experiencing Sudbury’s rugged beauty!), Viv’s career ranges from summerstock to The Shaw Festival. Recent credits include Glorious! (Magnus, Thousand Islands Playhouse); Lend Me a Tenor (Red Barn, Theatre Collingwood); The Last of the Red Hot Lovers (Theatre Collingwood.) Upcoming, The Last Resort (Stirling Festival). Viv’s been the host/emcee for over 100 corporate videos and live events and has appeared in dozens of TV commercials. An accomplished distance runner, she’s completed several marathons including, most proudly, the Boston Marathon.

DAVID SAVOY Director
David has just completed his first successful year at the Sudbury Theatre Centre. He was previously Artistic Director of Showboat Festival Theatre in Port Colborne for five seasons. In 2008, he completed his Master of Fine Arts Degree in Theatre at UBC, Vancouver. David bravely toured James Bay and Hudson’s Bay in 1989 with the STC touring company. Happily, the adventure continues.
RANDY VANCOURT Musical Director | Keyboards
Writer, composer and performer, Randy created the hit musical Boardwalk!, Born Lucky and Dead Air. He co-wrote the award-winning Chutzpah à Go-Go, which recently had its critically acclaimed U.S. premiere. TV composing credits include Dudley The Dragon, Loving Spoonfulls, and the theme songs for A La Poursuite de Carmen Sandiego, Our Magazine and YTV’s Don’t Lick the Pig. For three years he was heard on national radio as one-third of the comedy troupe Radio Freaks.
COLETTE CARR Choreographer
This marks Colette’s first experience at the Sudbury Theatre Centre. Colette has had the chance to choreograph over 20 musicals throughout her career, including Anne of Green Gables, Pirates of Penzance, The Mikado, Annie, Oliver, Bye Bye Birdie, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat to name a few. Colette looks forward to working with David Savoy once again, to a wonderful cast and crew, and wishes to thank her incredible family. C.B.R.F.
GEOFREY DINWIDDIE Set Designer
The Full Monty marks Geofrey’s 30th set design for the Sudbury Theatre Centre over the last ten years. “I love working in Sudbury. The people who come to this theatre have always been so engaged in what I do. It makes what I do a joy. The theatre is reciprocal. What you help the director and the actors give to the audience, you get back from the audience squared. As long as this theatre needs what I have to contribute, I’m here for you.”
CHARLOTTE ROBERTSON Costume Designer
Charlotte is thrilled to be designing her third STC show. Previous costume credits include I Met a Bully on a Hill, The Love List (STC); Marg Szkaluba (Pissy’s Wife) and Carnival (New West Theatre); Orra and Zadie’s Shoes (McGill University). She has also worked as a Costume Dresser for the Cirque du Soleil in Calgary and Ottawa and was trained in Costuming for Theatre at McGill University, in Montreal. Many thanks to David Savoy, Sheila and Leslie for making this dream possible.
TRAVIS HATT Lighting Designer
Travis is back at STC to expose The Full Monty to the light. Previous lighting design credits include Nine (Musical Theatre Productions); High Fidelity: The Musical, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Hart House); Sleeping Beauty, Doubt, Sweeney Todd, A Year With Frog and Toad, The Buddy Holly Story, and The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr (abridged) (STC); Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Debbie Does Dallas (Ghost Light Projects); Memories of the Rat Pack (Port Stanley); Nijinsky: Through a Window (The MT Space).

NICOLE LEE QUESNEL Stage Manager
Stage managing The Full Monty, and The Flying Bandit earlier this season, marks Nicole’s debut at STC. For over 13 years, Nicole has stage managed for Lost & Found Theatre, Drayton Entertainment, the MT Space, Theatre & Company, Theatre Cambridge, the Open Ears Festival, Flush Ink Productions, Touchmark Theatre and Showboat Festival Theatre. Also a director, actor and production manager, Nicole thanks the Lord, husband Richard and their dog Toby for bringing joy and sanity into her life.
STEPHANIE WOOLGER Apprentice Stage Manager
Stephanie is so happy to be returning as an ASM to the Sudbury Theatre Centre. She has previously worked as an ASM for STC’s Leading Ladies, Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, and A Year with Frog and Toad. “Thanks to everyone for the opportunity to work with and learn from such a variety of talented people. Note to the audience: Remember not to blink!”

TONY JURGILAS Drums
Tony makes an enthusiastic return to STC, having previously occupied the drum chair here in Broadway Heroes, Cabaret, An Evening on Broadway, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Little Shop of Horrors, and Forum. His versatility has afforded him the pleasure of sharing the stage with top shelf headliners, but he finds the most amusement in playing with his classic rock band.
BLAIR McNALLY Trombone
Blair is excited to make his return to the Sudbury Theatre Centre. Past credits include Cabaret, Ain’t Misbehavin’ and Forum. Blair is a 21 year veteran of the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra. He teaches brass at Cambrian College and performs with the Northern Brass Choir, The Gisèlles, North Bay Symphony and the Sudbury All-Star Jazz Band just to name a few.
JOHN NEWLANDS Guitar
Introduced to the guitar at age eight, John realized he had a full band playing in his head, and would soon add piano, drums, and singing to his palette. This Sudbury recording artist’s catalogue features over 130 songs exploring the art of living, the wonders of nature, politics, and consumerism. You are invited to visit johnnewlands.com.
BRIAN QUEBEC Bass
Brian is pleased to add The Full Monty to his many STC musical productions. After studying at Cambrian College and U. of T., he began freelancing in many musical genres and teaching music in Sudbury. Brian is proud of his involvement in the newly released CD This is the New World with Patrica Cano.
ALLAN WALSH Saxophone | Clarinet | Flute
Allan has been an active member of the music faculties of Laurentian University and Cambrian College for over 20 years. He has performed on world stages including Carnegie Hall, The Beacon Theatre, The Town Hall (NYC) and in France, Montreal and Switzerland. He is thrilled to return to STC for his ninth musical here.
